DRAGON FLYZ ARE THE HEROES THE VILLAINS? 

Dragonflyz o Dragonautas is a French animated series based on a line of toys from Galoob. The series was created by John and Anthony Gentile and Savin Yeatman (The Magician) and produced by Marc du Pontavice for Gaumont Multimédia and Xilam Animation in Association with Abrams/Gentile Entertainment and Active Entertainment, distributed by Columbia TriStar Television.

 

The plot

In the 41st century, after the Earth is destroyed by the madness of men, a group of humans who are dragon riders and a race of mutants, face each other to take control of the Earth. The protagonists are 4 brothers, among the main dragonnauts of humanity; and the chief antagonist is the mutant called Fury, who wants to destroy them and conquer the aerial city where they live, Pacifica.

 

Normally, the heroes are the humans, but if we analyze the story or the plot well, the mutants are not the villains, since they were left on the lifeless earth, where they survive as they could, while the humans live the best life in the skies.

 

Now that life is starting to improve on Earth, humans want to go back to Earth, but the mutants, upset by this, fight against the humans, to protect their world, while the humans fight for selfish reasons, they want to take it over…

 

In each episode, they show the humans as the almost perfect heroes, who defeat the “horrible” mutants, but they are not, since they want to recover something that they abandoned and left the mutants to their fate.
